I only start locs using the comb coil or comb twist method. I use straight line parts for longevity and equality.
How long does it take to start my locs?
It depends on how long your hair is and how thick. I would suggest sitting aside 2 hours to be safe.

It depends on your hair texture,type and how well you take care of them.

How often should I get my hair retwisted?
Every 3- 4 weeks when you first start for at least a year. After the first year you can come every 3 to 6 weeks.

What products do you use?
Yes! If you have found yourself on my website that means you're ready! Be aware starting locs is an investment in yourself and your hair health.
For loc starts I use EcoStyle Olive Oil Organic gel. For retwists I prefer Taliah Waajid Loc It Up regular and tight hold. For moisture and hydration I use my own hand made Loc oils. Shampoo and condtioner varies with hair type.

My locs are thinning, should I stop getting my locs retwisted?
No! Locs are weighted strands of hair knotted together. Your new growth has to be retwisted consistently in order for them to not get thin. Waiting long periods of time ( Anything past 6 weeks) is very damaging to your loc health. Normally if your locs are thin it's because too much time has passed in between loc grooms.
Do I have to bring my own products?
No! I have everything I need to start your locs. If you use a medicated shampoo or conditioner please feel free to bring it.
Cancellations and Late Fee
24 hours are required to cancel an appointment. Anything under 24 hours will result in a full price of service fee. 2 consecutive cancellations will result in you not being able to book future appointments.
No-Show fees are full price of your service. 1 No-show and you can no longer book any future appointments with me.
Late fees - If you are late you will not be serviced. Anything over the exact time of your appointment will result in a no show fee. NO EXCEPTIONS. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another date within 24 hours of booking.
Can I bring friends or family with me while my service is being done?
Yes! Be mindful of others around you in the space but feel free to bring a friend or your child if needed!
